Evil Minister is a graded stakes winning sprinting two-year-old, by a Champion Two-Year Old, Champion Sire and outstanding sire of sires, out of a graded and multiple stakes winning sprinter.
The precocious Evil Minister broke his maiden on his second start. Over six furlongs at Pimlico, he scored by 2¾ lengths from two-year-old stakes winner What’s Up Lonely, and stakes placed Bank on the Champ. On only his third lifetime start, Evil Minister, captured the Sapling Stakes (G3) over six furlongs at Monmouth Park, beating a strong field, which included graded stakes Park Avenue Ball, Vicarage and Primal Storm and stakes winner Punch the Storm. Stretching his speed, Evil Minister confirmed his class with a third to Park
Avenue Ball in the historic Futurity Stakes (G2) over a mile at Belmont, with graded stakes winner Fusaichi Rock Star behind. He ended his juvenile campaign by finishing fifth in the Breeders’ Futurity (G1), in front of grade one winner Bellamy Road, and graded stakes winners Scipion and Three Hour Nap.
